We are a nonprofit organization committed to educating and encouraging believers to experience their life, relationships, and faith with Jesus, not for Him.
We are especially passionate about marriage.
According to Ephesians 5: 31-32, we understand that the bond between husband and wife is a reflection of the relationship between Jesus and His Bride - the Body of Christ. Because of this profound connection, the enemy hates marriage and will do anything he can to destroy the covenant between a husband and wife. For this reason, we are fully committed to modeling, teaching, and helping couples practice the valuable tools and skills needed to enjoy marriage as God originally designed!
Do With Not For Ministries is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to see people strengthened, healed, and restored to joyful connection with others and Jesus! Would you like to learn more about how we are positively impacting couples, families, and individuals in the Kingdom of God?
Our own marriage suffered significant heartache.
After nearly three decades, our marriage took a drastic turn…
The two of us spent the majority of our lives living for the Lord. We served, we led, we ministered to others, but something was lacking: Authentic Spiritual Intimacy with Jesus, each other, and our Community. In 2024, God invited both of us to a journey of Transformation as we stepped into the light of His truth. With humility, Clinton revealed a dark secret, held for many years, that prevented the connection we both longed for in our marriage. After sorting through the wreckage, the Lord led us on a path to healing, freedom, and redemption, and we whole-heartedly desire to share what He’s taught us on this road back!
The concepts we learned and the tools we utilized are not exclusive to married couples. In fact, we regularly share these practical resources with our family, friends, and widespread community in the Body of Christ.

Throughout their marriage, Clinton and Nikki each wore a mask to portray life seemed better than it actually was, and Clinton held a secret for many years that would end up shattering this “picture-perfect” marriage. Glory From the Ashes unfolds their story of heartache, along with God’s tender response, inviting them to authentic Spiritual Intimacy. In this book, Clinton and Nikki reveal the valuable lessons they learned and tools they practiced along the way. They joyfully welcome you and your spouse on a journey to Oneness with each other, in the midst of beautiful Oneness with Jesus.
“Immediately, I remembered the words from Galatians 5:25, ‘If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.’ It connected in my mind that if I am walking ahead of or falling behind what the Spirit is doing, I am not actually with Him. On the other hand, being nestled in beside Him and participating in what He is doing places me in a posture of being with the Spirit of God... I realized I’d spent my entire life trying to prove myself in three ways: 1) I was doing things for Jesus to receive His approval, 2) I was doing things for Jesus to receive others’ approval, and 3) I was doing things for Jesus for my own benefit, to feel good about myself. Talk about a heavy burden! When Jesus invited me to do with Him and not for Him, I began to understand how my burden could truly become light.”
